Organisational tenure and safety perceptions: a comparative anaylsis

Abstract

A lot of attention has been focused on workers' perceptions of workplace safety but relatively little or no research has investigated the impact of organisational tenure on safety climate. The present study examined this relationship, as well as workers' job satisfaction, compliance with OHS management systems (OHSMS), and involvement in workplace safety incidents (analysis of variance was used in these comparative analyses).
